My first stop - The Banyan Court Beach Bar at the Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki. It is my favorite hotel in Waikiki, a lovely old Victorian built in 1901.

Saturday, 8/23 - My first sunrise in Punuluu on the North Shore. It's a tradition for me to wake up early the first morning of my visit so that I can see the sun rise over the ocean.

My niece, Tangia, also lives in Hawaii, this picture was taken with my phone camera so I could send the picture to Tangia's mom, my sister Huguette ...we let her wonder who the young man was...we knew she'd ask and she did..he was our waiter :)

Tuesday, 8/26 - On Monday, I had picked up a rental car for the remainder of the time..when in Hawaii, I must have a convertible!
