On Saturday, I got on the vaporetto to go to Giorgio Maggiore, and while on the way, I couldn't resist, yet another picture of San Marco.

The tide was still pretty high, and walking by the water on La Giudecca sometime required waiting for the water to recede back...I loved it!

Back near Castello, waiting for the vaporetto to go to the Lido, I saw all of the street vendors going off to work with large blue bags filled with the fake Gucci, Prada, and other faux designer purses.
